Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

              Hope the letter finds you well and spirited. Each year we make our appeal to you while the most blessed month- Ramadan approaches to us. In this blessed month Muslims are, across the world, out to help the needy and poor people with their Zakah and other donations following the sunnah of the Prophet [SAW]. As you are aware we are striving hard to reach the poorest of the poor with multiple interventions to graduate them from poverty. Zakah has been over the years the major source of our funds Alhamdulillah.

             You might be happy to know that our efforts are paying attention to the poor and marginalized people. HASANA approach, the Zakah based poverty reduction strategy, is emerging as an effective tool for combating poverty and empowering the poor. Children Welfare Program [CWP] is continuously contributing to protecting the right to life, livelihood, health, education and development of the orphans, uncared for and abandoned. We are trying to impact on the life of the community people by ensuring safe water supply in arsenic-prone areas. We have been relentlessly pursuing advocacy and campaigning interventions to promote the culture of cooperation, empathy, trust and good governance in the society. Raising awareness of the marginalized men and women on issues that affect their economic and moral development and sensitizing the policy makers and opinion builders for pro-poor development. We are trying to build capacity of the Imams so that they can contribute more to the welfare and benefits of the poor.

We ardently request you to visit in person our programs that are run by your supports and contributions by giving Zakah and other donations. We hope Allah (SWT) will be pleased with you for that. We assure you the best and transparent use of your charities. We look forward to your suggestions, feedbacks and help. Let’s try to MAKE A DIFFERENCE THIS RAMADAN. Let’s strive in the way of Allah(SWT). He will show us the right path by His mercy and RAHMAH. Ameen!
